Qualification & Requirements

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in residential building construction or site supervision.
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.
Good understanding of architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, and civil drawings.
Strong basic mathematical and measurement skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Willingness to travel and work across multiple residential project sites in and around Pondicherry and Cuddalore.
Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced construction environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site activities for residential construction projects.
Coordinate labourers, contractors, and different trades on site.
Interpret architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, and civil drawings during execution.
Ensure construction work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Plan and schedule site activities to meet project deadlines.
Organize and arrange materials in advance to avoid delays in site progress.
Monitor work progress and regularly update stakeholders on construction status.
Identify and resolve construction-related issues proactively.
Maintain records of material usage, billing, and labour payments.
Ensure proper site organization, workflow, and basic safety practices.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

Knowledge of CAD/BIM software and construction-related digital tools will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of project management tools/software will be an added advantage.

Qualification:

1) 1-3 years of experience as a Drafter, CAD/BIM Modeller (or) a similar role (or) 6 months of hands-on experience with CAD/ BIM tools - Freshers who can demonstrate a high-quality CAD/BIM project that you’ve developed while pursuing your degree is also appreciated.

2) B.Arch/Diploma in Architecture or) B.Tech/ B.E/ Diploma in Civil Engineering

3) Good Math Skills.

4) Ability to schedule work and meet deadlines.

5) The ability to learn and develop is a needed skill

Responsibility:

1) Liaising with architects to gather design ideas.

2) Developing the model from sketches and concept ideas.

3) Learning, understanding, and implementing the building scheme.

4) Generate permit drawing designs with building information modelling (BIM)/Computer-aided design (CAD) software and ensure that they comply with regulations and quality standards and requirements.
